η Δάφνη Κωστοπούλου δημιουργεί το δικό της ζωγραφικό μικρόκοσμο που στόχος του είναι να αναδείξει κρυμμένες προοπτικές της θαλασσινής ελληνικής φύσης. Σε κάθε έργο μονοδιάστατα χρώματα μετατρέπονται σε τοπία συνεχούς ροής και κίνησης μέσα από μια διεξοδική εξέταση των ζωγραφικών δυνατοτήτων των μελανιών οινοπνεύματος και της εποξικής ρητίνης

Born in the U.S.A. She graduated Athens College High School in 2001. She went on to get her Bachelors of Fine Arts from Parsons School of design -Paris- 2005 In 2006 she worked at the photography studio of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, while taking classes for designing and crafting jewelry, drawing and engraving. After that she worked for a year with young kids teaching art, on after school seminars.

In 2007 she returned to Greece and started working as an independent jewelry designer and maker and she started a collaboration with Benakis Museum. At the same time she continued engaging in engraving and painting and she experimented with alcohol ink, using it in her work for the last few years.

Her exhibition “Color Flows” in Evripides Art Gallery was her second solo exhibition, while she has also participated in several group ones in Greece and abroad.

She lives and works in Athens, Greece. She spends almost every day in her studio, where one can find her working on many different things depending on the inspiration.
